A large multi-chain product retailer needed to change to a new distribution facility. They faced high volume shipping and many customized processes. The highest priority was fulfillment without service interruption.
Trained a single product case pick only staff about loose and hundreds of product types. Worked with IT staff to train on current processes and integration into the facility’s processes. Worked with logistics and management to approve and implement new and modified procedures. Transferred and/ or liquidated assets from the original DC. Created documentation of all steps and performed demand to delivery testing. Optimized shipping and demand schedules. The results: a project that was under budget, ready for live 2 weeks early and little to no interruption in customer service levels.
